Beehive frame grips are essential tools used to lift the frames with one hand, while keeping the other hand free, for easy inspection of the colony. The grip applies a small pressure to securely lock onto the frame. This pressure is controlled by the springs which in turn allows the user to open the grip easily after each use. The beauty of this tool is in its simplicity and effectivity. Lifting the frame in one hand using the grip gives freedom to the other hand to do other tasks like checking the cells of the frames or guiding the frames back into the hive. It’s really a great piece of equipment despite its small size.
